- Lead the establishment of the company's operating structure, governance framework, and market positioning
- Define and execute business strategy, including service offerings, growth plans, and competitive differentiation
- Develop and manage annual budgets, revenue targets, and profitability metrics
- Provide regular performance and risk reporting to stakeholders
- Oversee execution of building and infrastructure projects across residential, commercial, and institutional sectors
- Ensure delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards
- Drive client acquisition and build a strong pipeline of third-party projects
- Lead bidding, pricing, and contract negotiations
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
- Oversee financial performance including cost control, cash flow, and margin optimisation
- Recruit, lead, and develop multidisciplinary teams across engineering, commercial, and project functions
- Establish performance management, reporting systems, and operational processes
- Drive a culture of accountability, delivery excellence, and ethical conduct
- Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards
- Implement enterprise risk management across operations and contracts
- Champion HSE, quality, and sustainability standards
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous
- 12-15+ years' experience in construction or civil infrastructure
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role with P&L responsibility
- Proven track record delivering large-scale projects and building operations
- Experience in emerging markets or Africa is highly desirable
- Strong strategic and commercial leadership
