Job Vacancy For Vice-President

• Oversee academic planning, programme review and curriculum development
• Supervise the deans of the schools and faculties and the director of library, evaluating and approving recommendations for President's approval
• Liaise with the National Accreditation Board on new programme / re-accreditation of the University College and its programmes
• Maintain liaison with affiliates of the University College on academic performance and further develop strategic partnership that will bring lasting value and networks to enhance teaching and research
• Provide leadership in creating and maintaining academic standards and policies in the University College

• Proven strong strategic leadership track record
• Must be at least a Senior Lecturer's status with a PhD. Professorial status will be an advantage
• Must have at least 10 years working experience in a tertiary institution or academic-related institution of which 5 years should have been in leadership position
• Must have credible scholarly credentials in teaching, research and publication
• Must exhibit high sense of work ethics and diligence
• Must have proven capacity to motivate and inspire staff and students
