This is a sales-oriented position, and the successful candidate will be the bridge between the outsourced clients and the HR Client Services team.[ad]Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate communication with clients, responding to inquiries and scheduling meetings.
  • Ensuring daily operations and fleet availability for business
  • Allocate resources, drivers and vehicles and fuel to all contract and client requests
  • Maintain accurate records of all fleet within the Unit.
  • Keep a log for fuel used for all rental services.
  • Maintain a log of all drivers, License and expiry.
  • Stay informed about finance leasing products and services to effectively support the team.
  • Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on business activity showcasing utilization, rental revenue, new developments, and recommendations for getting /maintaining competitive edge.
  • Proactively identify administrative needs and develop solutions to streamline processes.
  • Resolving rental customer issues and ensuring a positive customer experience with the drivers and vehicles.
  • Conducting performance evaluations that are timely and constructive, where applicable, and provide management with various updates and indicators as requested
  • Support team members in the switch
  • Liaising with the Corporate Services department to ensure service vehicles are maintained in line with the manufacturer's and contract requirements.
  • Ensure vehicles for rentals are safe, clean and compliant with the road traffic act.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and offer regular training to drivers.
Required Skills or ExperienceQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Candidate must have a minimum of a degree in a relevant discipline
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in fleet management or automobile rental services roles is required.
  • Experience with lead generation and prospect management
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Proactive and ability to take initiative
  • Ability to handle pressure and tight deadlines
  • An appropriately assertive manner to deal with clients
  • Integrity and confidentiality are very key in this role
  • The ability to work well with people is essential.
  • Excellent organisational skills to meet goals and set priorities
  • Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet applications is beneficial
