- AgriBiz Programme works together with the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MoTI) and the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA) to improve the conditions for creating productive employment in the agribusiness sector.
- The Programme strengthens business organizations to better represent the interest of their members and offer professional services. AgriBiz supports processing companies in their business development, introducing technological solutions.
- The Technical Advisor is primarily responsible for providing supports to the project management in the implementation of the M&E system.
- The Technical Advisor is also responsible for data collection, analysis and management according to programme indicators.
- Furthermore he/she is supporting in the development of all project communication
- Supports the project management in the implementation of the M&E system with a focus on Data collection, analysis and management according to
- Coordinates and assists in preparing and conducting M&E activities and carries out other activities required for implementing the M&E system.
- Participates in formulating project action plans and helps synchronise the planning and budgeting system.
- Contributes to the M&E presentations in technical, steering committee and other meetings; prepares relevant documentations for the respective steering committee meetings and important clients (BMZ/ MoTI).
- Supports with media and visibility activities in line with GIZ guidelines.
- Supports in the development of all project communication for GIZ Ghana, social media channels and media houses.
- Supports development and revision of information, education and communication materials e.g. articles, success stories, press releases, factsheet,
- Supports in drawing up reports to the projects' partners and donors.
- Handles other task on behalf of GIZ.
- University degree in an area that is related to the project/programme objectives, with a focus on a relevant field (equivalent to BA or MBA)
- At least 5 years' professional experience in a comparable position
- Substantial experience with results-based monitoring and report writing with strong quantitative and analytical skills and ability to analyse large datasets.
- Professional experience in planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting
- Experience in project communication and the development of communication material.
- Very good working knowledge of ICT tools, computer applications (e.g. MS Office) and data management softwares (e.g. Kobo Toolbox, PowerBI, etc.)
- Diligent, goal oriented, open minded and innovative, team player and ability to perform task without supervision.
- Good understanding of development programmes (project cycle management).
- Knowledge of GIZ processes and standards will be a great asset.
- Strong interpersonal skills, work experience in an intercultural environment is an asset.
- Very strong communication and writing skills and ability to engage stakeholders and facilitate networking.
