- Receive and prepare samples for analysis, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Enter sample data into the laboratory information management system (LIMS).
- Organize and store samples according to established procedures, maintaining accurate records and managing sample inventory.
- Assist analysts during analyses, providing support with various laboratory tasks.
- Contribute to lab stock management, monitoring inventory levels and assisting with ordering supplies.
- Perform water analyses following established protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment according to 5S principles, including daily cleaning tasks as scheduled.
- Oversee the safe delivery and handling of procured equipment and consumables.
- Dispose of old samples according to established procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the QC Supervisor.

- Technical: Good knowledge of laboratory operations, digital literacy, proactive work ethic, strong verbal and written communication skills.
- HND in sciences preferred; minimum high school diploma or equivalent experience required.
- At least one year of proven experience in a similar laboratory assistant role.
