- Conduct market research for the selection of suppliers/competitors
- Conduct price/cost/reasonability analyses
- Plan and implement correct procurement strategies
- Prepare tender specifications and other documents to procure goods and/or services
- Launch invitation to tenders
- Daily Follow-up on procurement procedures until signature of contract.
- Participate in the evaluation of tenders and prepare contracts and/or purchase orders
- Liaise with accounting cell to ensure budget is available for each tendering procedure before contracting
- Monitor maintenance intervals for technical installations, including security installations
- Ensure documentation for each tender procedure is saved in both hard and soft copies for audit purposes.
- Create a suppliers' database
- Maintain professional relations with suppliers
- Monitor and manage contracts (initiation, execution, termination)
- Register contracts in appropriate IT systems and databases
- Monitor suppliers performances
- Draft internal Administrative notes and others
- Monitor the assets and encode new acquisitions in the appropriate IT-Tool
- Track all assets for yearly inventory exercise
- Any other administrative tasks requested by the Head of Administration
- Very good negotiation and analytical skills
- Strategic sourcing skills
- Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing
- Very good planning, coordination and reporting capabilities
- Very good organization skills and ability to work to deadlines
- High level of accuracy, detailed-oriented, proactive, fast learner responsible and responsive articulate, discrete

- Ability to work under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, finance or related field
- Knowledge in accounting
- Minimum 5 years professional experience in performing above mentioned tasks
- Member of a procurement professional body (CIPS)
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken) plus one local language
- Advanced proven knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Advance knowledge in Excel usage
