Assistant Company Secretary by Reputable Company

- To support the company Secretary to assist the Board to comply with the company’s constitution and with relevant enactments, as well as provide legal service to the company
- Assist the company Secretary in the following:
- Assist with the organization of Board and Committee meetings in line with Annual Meetings Calendar
- Prepare draft agenda in consultation with company Secretary
- Assist with collation of reports/documents for meetings
- Assist with preparation of summaries of committee meetings for reporting
- Assist with communication of board decisions to relevant stakeholders and keep copies of directives
- Ensure that minutes of board and committee meetings are secure
- Maintain official records of Directors
- Ensure Regular Update of Board Charter with international best practices
- Perform other duties that may be assigned
- A qualified lawyer with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant/secretary, preferably in a law firm or in a corporate legal department
- Excellent knowledge of applicable laws
- Confidential, discreet and diplomatic
- Detail-oriented and highly organised
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional demeanour
- Ability to work independently, manage large workloads and keep deadline
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft office, including word, excel and outlook.
