- To develop and execute strategic sales and distribution plan to achieve sales targets and work with functional heads to expand the company’s customer base.
- To lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets
- To establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
- To identify and harness new client opportunities, while retaining and upgrading existing customer base
- To communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
- To review periodic reports on the performance of the major distribution channels
- To liaise with the HR and Training departments to implement capacity development and performance management initiatives
- To lead in the preparation of the distribution budget
- To lead the growth strategic pillar of the business
- To provide any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time
- First Degree in Marketing or any related field
- ACII
- Masters Degree will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 10 years working experience with at least 5 years in managerial level in a similar role
- Competence in closing high earned sales
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to organise and plan and take strategic decisions
- Must have strong desire to coach and develop others by sharing skills and knowledge
- Demonstrated capability in organizing teams, setting targets and holding team to deliver on goals
