Our experienced team members are our most precious asset, having discovered, explored and developed more than 24Moz of gold resources and reserves in Ghana; and having managed Ghana's largest underground mine.About This RoleThe role will be responsible for executing maintenance on Processing Plant electrical installations. This position will give inputs to the electrical supervisor on equipment maintenance and corrective actionsKey Responsibilities

Monitor substations in the plant and carry out any maintenance procedures
Attend training, development and performance improvement training as required
Execute electrical refurbishment and maintenance work items as tasked - compliant and in accordance with all relevant regulations from Government of Ghana and AGBL
Execute daily pre-start checks of equipment/tools prior to leaving workshop. Escalate and report any anomalies
Assess all equipment required for completion of the tasked work, create checklist, and transport all tools necessary for task completion
Recognize any machine, equipment or crane operation anomalies that would indicate requirements for maintenance, report and escalate.
Provide data and information to support the Maintenance Planner to close out work orders in the maintenance management system
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Education, Work Experience & Key Competencies

HND or EET Part II or III in Electrical Engineering.
Three (3) Years of experience preferably Process Plant maintenance
Familiarity with the Ghana Minerals and Mining (Health Safety and Technical) Regulation
Knowledge of the Ghana Electrical Wiring Regulations 2012, L.I. 2008
Must possess an Inspecting Engineer's Certificate of Competency from Mineral Commission of Ghana
Strong electrical maintenance competencies in mining and/or extractive metallurgy environment
Basic skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Project and Excel
Knowledge in Electrical starters maintenance: DOLs, VSDs, Soft Starters, Liquid resistance starters Ability to work in multi-cultural environment where respect is paramount.
