Job Vacancy For Director of Works and Physical Development

• The Director of works and physical development is the head of the office of works and physical development of the university.
• S/he is responsible for the development and maintenance of all physical infrastructural facilities of the University

• Possess a minimum of master's degree and relevant professional qualification a recognised institution
• Be a registered and practicing member/fellow of a recognised professional bodies
• Possess a B.S.C degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying / Architecture or any other relevant degree from a recognised institution

• Considerable post-qualification experience in project management, procurement management, physical development, build environment, etc in a higher educational institution or analogous institution
• Handled and completed a project of a considerably high magnitude and value witin a team environment
• Proven leadership and managerial capabilities to lead and coordinate staff and activity
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Considerable experience in office practice and procedure
• a minimum of 15 years post-qualification experience
• a minimum of 12 years post-professional qualification experience

• 10 copies of curriculum vitae (CV), including names and addresses of the 3 referees
• 10 copies of a three-page statement of candidate's vision for the Directorate
