- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for mine-site roles (skilled trades, technical, supervisory and professional).
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, mining networks, universities, community databases, and internal referrals.
- Drive local talent sourcing in alignment with Ghana Minerals Commission localisation and community recruitment requirements.
- Build and maintain pipelines for hard-to-fill roles.
- Conduct screening calls, design competency-based interview guides, coordinate panel interviews.
- Facilitate technical tests, psychometric assessments, and practical evaluations where required.
- Ensure fair and transparent recruitment processes for local community applicants.
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with the Ghana Labor Act, Minerals Commission localisation plans, and company's HR policies.
- Ensure all hires meet mandatory medical, security, and background verification requirements.
- Maintain accurate recruitment record-keeping for audits and reporting.
- Work closely with Site HR, Community Relations, Training & Development, and HODs to support talent needs.
- Engage with local community leaders and employment committees on community recruitment processes.
- Partner with training departments to identify skills gaps and support training interventions.
- Coordinate onboarding logistics (medical fitness, inductions, accommodation, rotations, PPE issue, site access).
- Deliver site-specific orientation programs in collaboration with HSE and HR teams.
- Track new hire performance during probation period and support integration into teams.
- Maintain recruitment dashboards, vacancy trackers, and weekly/monthly reports.
- Analyze recruitment metrics: time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source-of-hire, localisation progress, community hires, turnover trends.
- Recommend process improvements and workforce planning insights.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in Talent Acquisition within the mining industry
- Exposure to a remote mining environment, including daily interaction with operational areas.
- Experience recruiting for remote site operations or similar high-volume technical environments.
- Experience in resourcing passive candidates on external recruitment platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Ghanaian labor laws and localization requirements.
- Proficiency with SAP SuccessFactors
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
