Promasidor is hiring both a Junior and an Associate ICT Operations Engineer to support its Ghana operations and several neighbouring countries. You'll be part of our pan-African ICT team (PICT), keeping our infrastructure and users productive across a dynamic, multi-country environment.We're open to candidates with 1-5 years of experience. Appointment level (Junior or Associate) will depend on your experience and capability.What You'll Do
- Provide first-line helpdesk support to end users
- Install and maintain PCs, printers, scanners, and operating systems
- Deploy and support Microsoft 365 productivity tools (Outlook, Teams, Office)
- Track IT assets and assist with procurement and disposal
- Monitor backups, apply OS patches, and support security controls
- Document configurations and resolved issues
- Contribute to infrastructure projects and rollouts
- Troubleshoot more complex LAN/WAN issues
- Lead assigned project tasks and deliver milestones
- Deliver basic user training sessions
- Optimise performance and proactively improve processes
- Maintain asset lifecycle data and support audit readiness
- First-call resolution and response time
- Customer satisfaction score
- System uptime and recovery time
- On-time project milestone delivery
- Asset inventory accuracy
- Documentation completeness and audit outcomes
- Diploma or higher in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 1-2 years' experience in IT support
- Entry-level certificate (e.g. CompTIA A+) is a plus
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5 years' experience in IT support or similar role
- Stronger skills in networking, automation, and project coordination
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent preferred
- Troubleshooting skills across hardware, OS, networking (TCP/IP, DNS), Microsoft 365
- Strong communication and a service mindset
- Proactive, well-organised team player
- For Associate level: initiative, coaching ability, and stakeholder engagement
- Weekdays on-site in Accra (North Industrial Area), 08:00-17:00
- Occasional upcountry travel within Ghana
