This role is crucial to ensuring the quality, security, and accessibility of data across our client projects. You will work on projects such as designing enterprise data warehouses, optimizing cloud-based data lakes, and developing data integration solutions for real-time analytics. If you're passionate about building robust data ecosystems and enjoy working with cross-functional teams, we'd love to have you on board.QualificationsKey Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain complex data models and architecture solutions to meet the organisation's needs.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into architectural solutions.
  • Develop data integration strategies, including data flow and ETL pipelines, to connect diverse data sources.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are adhered to across all data solutions.
  • Lead initiatives to modernise data infrastructure, focusing on cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure for scalability.
Person Specification
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Architect, with a strong background in designing and implementing data platforms.
  • Experience with big data technologies like Apache Hadoop, Spark, or similar
  • Experience with Python for building data pipelines and automating ETL processes
  • Proficiency in database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing solutions.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed data storage systems.
  • Strong knowledge of data modelling techniques, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration tools.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Understanding of data security best practices, governance, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with stakeholders at various levels.
