A fast-growing, flexible-packaging manufacturer in Accra now seeks a high caliber Administrator for its Manufacturing Plant in Spintex.Position Summary
To provide administrative and office management support across the plant, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, proper coordination between departments, and compliance with company policies.Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee office supplies, stationery, utilities, and facility maintenance.
  • Manage company assets (furniture, IT equipment, office tools) and keep records updated.
  • Handle service contracts (cleaning, security, pest control, cafeteria, etc.).
  • Ensure proper housekeeping and upkeep of offices, common areas, and meeting rooms.
  • Support management in coordinating travel, accommodation, and logistics for staff or visitors.
  • Maintain filing systems for administrative, legal, and company records.
  • Draft, review, and circulate official correspondence, memos, and notices.
  • Support documentation required for audits (ISO, BRC, labour compliance, etc.).
  • Act as the contact point for day-to-day employee administrative requests.
  • Support HR in organising training sessions.
  • Coordinate canteen, transportation, and other staff services.
  • Ensure adherence to administrative policies and standard operating procedures. Maintain visitor records, gate passes, and access control systems.
  • Support the HSE team with compliance of administrative areas (fire safety, signage, first-aid kits).
  • Process petty cash expenses and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist procurement in requesting and following up on quotations for admin-related purchases.
  • Verify vendor invoices for admin services before forwarding to Accounts.
  • Liaise with external vendors, service providers, and contractors.
  • Provide administrative support to department heads as needed.
  • Prepare monthly reports on administrative activities, expenses, and outstanding issues
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience in administration, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial setup.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and basic ERP systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel is a must.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work under pressure.
