Job Vacancy For Social Media Manager / Content CreatorWe are looking for a creative, organized, and motivated Social Media Manager / Content Creator to help build and manage an educational YouTube channel: Social Media Manager / Content Creator (YouTube & Short-Form Video)The goal of the channel is to create valuable and engaging content that attracts students studying abroad and encourages them to subscribe. The content will focus on helping students understand important topics related to student life, finances, and responsibilities while living outside their home country.Content will primarily be produced for YouTube, with short-form clips also repurposed for TikTok and other short-form platforms to expand audience reach.This role is ideal for someone who understands YouTube growth strategies, short-form video marketing, and audience engagement.Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage weekly YouTube content (long videos and Shorts)
  • Create engaging video concepts designed to attract students studying abroad
  • Produce and edit high-quality videos optimized for YouTube
  • Create YouTube Shorts that tease and promote the main videos
  • Repurpose short-form videos for TikTok and similar platforms
  • Optimize titles, thumbnails, and descriptions for audience growth
  • Research trending topics relevant to students living abroad
  • Maintain a consistent content schedule
  • Monitor analytics and adjust strategies to improve channel performance
  • Engage with comments and help build an active online community
  • Suggest creative ideas to grow the channel organically
Qualification Required & Experience
  • Two years relevant experience and/or Senior High School Certificate or Degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of YouTube content strategy
  • Experience editing videos for YouTube and short-form social media platforms
  • Familiarity with video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar software
  • Ability to create engaging short-form content
  • Understanding of YouTube thumbnails, hooks, and audience retention
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Organized, creative, and able to meet deadlines
  • Experience managing or growing a YouTube channel is a strong advantage
