- Assist the Chief Justice in the management of both the judiciary and judicial service.
- Assist the Chief Justice in both the general administration and court administration of the judicial service
- Function as the Chief Operating Officer of the Judicial Service under the direct supervision of the Chief Justice.
- Be the custodian of all assets of the Judicial Service
- Be the spending officer and ensure that the service complies with all financial/procurement and other regulations necessary for the governance of a public sector institution such as the Judicial Service.
- Assist the Chief Justice in managing the business of the Judicial Council and the General Legal council
- Serve as Secretary to both the Judicial Council and the General Legal Council
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the Chief Justice
- Applicant must be a Ghanaian enrolled on the roll of lawyers in Ghana
- Must be not less than 12 years standing at the Bar
- A Master’s Degree in Public Administration or Business Administration would be an added advantage
- Must have considerable administrative experience in public service
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be a team player who is able to work collaboratively with and through others
- Should be a person of high moral character and proven integrity
- Must be computer literate and able to use Word Processing Software, e.g. Microsoft Word, etc
