Job Vacancy For Field Engineer – Telecommunication & Systems Support

• The purpose of this role is to support and carry out telecommunications and systems support tasks for both legacy and IP telephony systems.
• All issues with end-user systems support, client computers, fiber optic cable layouts including repairs and maintenance, end-user LAN connectivity, office equipment and peripherals (printers etc) are functional to this role

• Work with technical management to ensure that telecom networks are effectively maintained and reflect business needs, service-level and availability requirements and other technology parameters
• Support and maintain plans to ensure telecom systems capacity meets existing and future requirements
• Assist to preparing Telecommunication device and cabinet location, layout, cable block diagrams and MDF/IDF schematics
• Keep register of spares for telecommunications equipment the service
• Ensure that all client systems are effectively connected to the local area networks
• Ensure that all office equipment and peripherals - multi-function printers, etc are well maintained

• A university degree or diploma in Telecommunications/computer engineering or related fields
• Experience in managing telecommunications systems/call managers
• Experience in the design of telecommunication systems such as:

• Strong knowledge and understanding of PSTN and ISDN operation
• Strong knowledge and experience in client systems support
• Highly self-movitated and directed
• Keen attention to detail
• Experience in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Ethical conduct

• Medically fit for the position and the environment
• Possess valid Ghanaian Driving license and proficiency to drive light vehicle
