Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, testing, and improving mechanical systems and components to support product development and manufacturing initiatives. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on prototyping, and the ability to collaborate across departments.Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor).
  • Conduct engineering analyses including FEA, tolerance stack-up, and thermal/stress evaluations.
  • Create 2D drawings and detailed specifications for manufacturing and assembly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, manufacturing, and procurement.
  • Support prototype development and product testing.
  • Evaluate design for manufacturability, cost, and performance.
  • Participate in design reviews and implement design improvements based on feedback.
  • Assist in resolving production issues related to mechanical design or materials.
  • Maintain project documentation, BOMs, and revision controls in PLM systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and safety requirements.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred for senior roles).
Experience:
  • 2–5 years of mechanical design experience (entry-level roles may accept internships/co-ops).
  • Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, etc.).
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, sheet metal, 3D printing).
  • Experience with simulation tools (FEA/CFD) is a plus.

  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or working toward it.
  • Experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., ASME, ISO, UL).
  • Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Arena, Windchill).
  • Knowledge of electrical or mechatronic systems.
