- The Head of Internal Audit will provide independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal control systems across all hotel operations
- This strategic role reports directly to the Board of Directors of the Hotel and plays a critical part in safeguarding assets, ensuring compliance and strengthening operational efficiency
- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk-based internal audit strategy
- Lead and manage the internal audit function across all departments
- Evaluate the effectiveness of financial controls, operational procedures, and compliance systems
- Oversee audits of revenue management, procurement, inventory, payroll and asset management
- Identify financial, operational and regulatory risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with hospitality regulations, corporate policies and statutory requirements
- Prepare and present audit findings and strategic recommendations to the Board
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities
- Promote a culture of accountability, transparency and continuous improvement
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline (Master's degree preferred)
- Professional certification required (CIA, ICA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive audit experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Prior experience in the hospitality or luxury hotel sector strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of internal controls, enterprise risk management and regulatory compliance.
