  • Prepare financial statements and reports including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and other documents.
  • Collaborate with junior staff to ensure that all projects are completed on time and according to company standards.
  • Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate recording of all transactions.
  • Prepare accurate accounting reports and present financial results as required.
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
  • Ensure compliance with government and statutory reporting requirements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
  • Assist the Managing Director in her duties.
  • Safeguard company assets, including office equipment and devices, in line with company policies.
RequirementsRequirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance or any related field of study.
  • A minimum of 2 years' work experience in a similar role or its equivalent.
  • Good working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Sage).
  • Working knowledge of the Ghanaian Tax Laws and GAAP.
  • Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
