Job Vacancy For Vice Rector, Midwifery and Paediatrics

• To assist the Rector in performing leadership functions and oversee academic and administrative activities of the Midwifery and Paediatrics Division to ensure effective and efficient operations.

• Assist the Rector to perform leadership functions and oversee the day-to-day running of the academic and administrative activities of the Midwifery and Paediatrics division
• Lead in developing and implementing administrative and academic policies of the Midwifery and Paediatrics Division
• Supervise and coordinate operational activities in the Division
• Provide examplary leadership for the achievement of the objectives of the division
• Ensure the maintenance and sustenance of academic and professional standards
• Provides direction on academic, research and operational policies of the division
• Ensure the development of the capabilities skills and knowledge of staff in the division

• A master's degree in Midwifery, paediatric nursing or an equivalent discipline
• A professional midwife, paediatric nurse or an equivalent professional discipline
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant working experience in public service of which 7 years must have been acquired at a senior management level
• A fellow of GCNM and
• Experience using a variety of computer applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
