- The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the University and is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the University under the Vice-Chancellor and in accordance with policy directives of the Council.
- The Registrar is also Secretary to the Council and the Academic Board.
- He/She provides strategic advice and briefings to the Vice-Chancellor and is expected to provide leadership and management across a wide range of activities in the University.
- Have a minimum of Master's degree preferably in Administration and Management related area
- Have served as a Deputy Registrar in a University or comparable grade in a similar institution or organization for at least six (6) years
- Be computer literate
- Have a strong intellect with excellent managerial, communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a deep appreciation of the academic working environment of Ho Technical University
- Be principled with strong and proven sense of public morality and integrity
- Have an understanding of the tertiary education environment, particularly local higher education policies and practices
- Have considerable experience in dealing with a wide variety of internal and external publics of the University
- Have proven emotional stability
- The eligible candidate should be able to complete a Four (4) year term of office before attaining age Sixty (60).
- Curriculum Vitae with documentation on personal history, academic credentials, and working experience.
- A statement of not more than Five (5) pages in standard font size 12 and one-and-half line spacing, indicating how they would use their position to advance the Vision and Mission of Ho Technical University.
