Qualification Required & ExperienceA person seeking appointment as Professor must:
  • Nationally and internationally be acknowledged as teach, scholar and innovator in his/her field with significant contribution to industrial innovations, as well as contribution to the intellectual and professional reputation of his/her University
  • Have been appointed as Professor in the relevant discipline in a public tertiary institution or a duly accredited private tertiary institution in Ghana or elsewhere.
  • Possess a PhD in the relevant field of specialisation in one or more of the areas listed above
  • Show evidence of capacity for continuous research and dissemination of knowledge through technology transfer and publications
  • Have a minimum of 26 publications in recognised reputable peer reviewed journals, at least 10 of which must have been published after promotion to the grade of Associate Professional
