- Record daily financial transactions including invoicing, payments, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Maintain up-to-date accounts payable and receivable records.
- Ensure all financial data complies with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Process employee salaries, statutory deductions, and remittances (e.g., taxes, pensions).
- Manage petty cash, staff claims, and expense reimbursements.
- Accurately compute and remit SSNIT contributions and other employee-related payments.
- Prepare and file VAT, PAYE, corporate tax, and other statutory returns.
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and external regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants as needed.
- Generate timely financial reports including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries.
- Provide financial analysis to support decision-making and identify cost-saving opportunities.
