Job DescriptionThe role holder is responsible for third party Vendor Contractor Management and must ensure that all site maintenance are delivered within in accordance with the specifications/Service Level Agreements (SLA) as well as to ensure Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) compliance and quality standards on sites. The Supervisor, Field Operations will also be responsible for dealing with External Customer queries and complaints and ensure timely handover of sites to both internal and external customers.The role holder will be responsible for monitoring and providing clear guidance to contractors in order to meet defined construction timelines and also verifying that the contractor is following the scope of work. The role holder will ensure ATC Ghana customers have continuous power availability. This role is remote and the incumbent must be versatile and available to move across regions in Ghana.[ad]Responsibilities
  • Supervision, inspection and approval of projects executed by contractors pertaining to collocations, BTS, refurbishment, tower reinforcement, foundation reinforcement, Technical Site Surveys, etc.
  • Ensures all installation / projects are executed as per the customers specification and standards.
  • Closely monitoring all activities and processes of the projects to ensure a quality product.
  • Provide health and safety reports to Managers, Project Manager and Manager, Health, Safety & Wellness and ensure Health & Safety Environment (HSE) standards are maintained on sites.
  • Produce project schedules, co-ordinate projects, undertake evaluation and reporting.
  • Ensure projects are executed as per the method statements and the risk assessments.
  • Planning and liaising with Project Manager to execute Technical Site Survey (TSS), Build-to- Suite (BTS), Refurbishment, Reinforcements etc.
  • Manage projects tasks involving timely activities and reporting.
  • Monitor and provide clear guidance to contractor and/or customer in order to meet defined construction timelines.
  • Attends all Kick-Offs, Acceptance Test Procedures.
  • Verification of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) of projects executed.
  • Sending progress reports to Project Managers, Quality Assurance Manager and Line Manager on all projects.
  • Sending of weekly reports on performance on SMPMS to Line Manager
  • Inform management of any site issues and create solutions accordingly.
  • Report any accidents and/or property damage to management immediately.
  • Monitor time labor expended on collocation and capital improvement projects and update in Oracle system.
  • Review and approve all SMPMS vendor schedule.
  • Inspect all SMPMS completed works in region of responsibility.
  • Ensure that operational faults and escalations are resolved.
  • Ensure that all refurbishment, upgrades and adhoc repairs are carried out.
  • Prepare Operational Reports
  • Ensure that preventive maintenance activities are carried out as per schedule and ensure that emergency fault reports are realistic.
  • Ensure that Site maintenance vendors are sending realistic Root Cause Analysis (RCAs) for each emergency fault.
  • Liaise with ATC NOC Analyst and provide report on SLA variation.
Qualifications
  • Minimum HND/Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Electricals and Telecommunication) preferred.
  • Construction and Maintenance Electro-mechanics (CME) Supervisor experience for a minimum of one or two years preferred
  • Knowledge of site construction (site layout, tower and shelter construction, earthing/ grounding, electrical, concrete) preferred.
