This role serves as the key liaison with the Group IT Centre of Excellence, facilitating digital transformation and technology alignment. The position oversees a team of four and drives operational excellence across the business unit.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Technical Support
  • Manage and ensure continuous operation of IT infrastructure, including networks, devices, and peripherals.
  • Oversee data backups, patch updates, and endpoint configurations according to Group protocols.
  • Deliver user onboarding and training on approved platforms and security practices.
  • Communicate system changes, outages, and technical updates effectively to users.
Security & Compliance
  • Implement and monitor cybersecurity practices in compliance with Group IT policies.
  • Manage software licenses and user permissions.
Team Management
  • Supervise and mentor the local IT team, fostering professional growth and performance.
  • Set objectives, delegate tasks, and support service-level achievement.
Project Coordination
  • Lead deployment and readiness activities for Group IT initiatives at the local level.
  • Provide feedback and performance insights during system rollouts.
Asset & Vendor Oversight
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets and inventory.
  • Coordinate with vendors for technical support, warranties, and procurement needs.
  • Report regularly on infrastructure health, support metrics, and IT trends.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years in IT operations, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in multinational or group IT environments is an asset.
Certifications (Preferred)
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  • Cisco CCNA
