Job Vacancy For Legal OfficerA reputable state-owned Enterprise is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons for appointment to fill the position of: Legal OfficerJob Functions
  • Drafts and reviews legal agreements for the company
  • Assists in the assessment of any claim brought before the company for settlement
  • Assist Division, Departments and Regional Offices in dealing with issues of disputes that arise in the normal performance of their duties
  • Assists and advises the company in negotiation for contracts to be undertaken
  • Must be ready to travel at short notice
Qualification Required & Experience
  • LLB, BL plus a minimum of 10 years experience at the Bar for the Senior Legal Officer
Technical Skills and Competence
  • Must be a barrister or a lawyer of good standing
  • Good knowledge of civil law
  • Good knowledge of administrative principles
  • Litigation issues
