Location: TemaJob Summary:The CCTV Operator is responsible for monitoring and operating the closed-circuit television (CCTV) system to ensure the security and safety of people, property, and premises. The role requires attention to detail, quick response to incidents, and adherence to company policies and security protocols.Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor live CCTV footage to identify and respond to suspicious activities, security breaches, and safety hazards.
- Operate and maintain surveillance equipment and ensure all cameras are functioning properly.
- Record and store video evidence for investigations and legal purposes.
- Maintain logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and system faults.
- Assist in reviewing archived footage upon request or during investigations.
- Communicate effectively with the security team and relevant departments in case of emergency or unusual activity.
- Follow data protection and privacy regulations in handling video footage.
- Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Cooperate with law enforcement or emergency response teams when required.
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of all security information and data.
- High school certificate or equivalent; additional security training or certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Good knowledge of security systems and procedures.
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CCTV systems.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Integrity, reliability, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
