- Hands-on project communications and stakeholder engagement in Ghana, and
- Strategic support to global marketing and PR activities, ensuring consistency between country-level implementation and international positioning.
- Develop and implement a communication and visibility plan for AYA, aligned with donor and GIZ requirements.
- Translate complex technical content on NCDs, health systems, and service delivery into clear, engaging, and audience-focused communication materials.
- Produce and manage communication products, including factsheets, brochures, presentations, case stories, social media content, and website inputs.
- Coordinate basic visual production (layouting, infographics, and photo/video support).
- Support media engagement in Ghana, including press briefings, interviews, and success stories.
- Coordinate communication activities with MoH, GHS, and implementing partners to ensure consistent messaging.
- Support project visibility at national and international events, workshops, and forums in Ghana.
- Prepare communication materials for high-level meetings, launches, and public events.
- Document and communicate project results, lessons learned, and success stories for donors and partners.
- Ensure compliance with GIZ corporate design and communication standards.
- Contribute to global marketing, PR, and communication activities of the InS Health Service Portfolio.
- Provide content from AYA Ghana for global pitch decks, case studies, flagship project narratives, and thought leadership products.
- Coordinate with GIZ InS Communications Team to ensure alignment between country implementation and global positioning.
- Support global social media and digital communication activities.
- Track and report on communication and visibility activities using basic KPIs (e.g. reach, engagement, media coverage).
- Support donor reporting related to communication and visibility requirements.
- Continuously refine communication approaches based on feedback and performance.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, with responsibility for planning and delivery.
- Experience in private-sector, consultancy, or corporate communication environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading digital marketing, content strategy, and multi-channel campaigns.
- Strong strategic thinking, storytelling, and brand positioning skills.
- Proven ability to develop high-quality communication materials and oversee basic visual production.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders and external partners.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently across cultures and organizational levels.
- Exposure to international or development-related contexts, ideally within multi-stakeholder or donor-funded initiatives.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, analytics, and performance tracking.
- Experience contributing to global marketing, PR, or thought leadership initiatives.
