Actively participates in negotiating and bidding for external jobs.
Conducts valuation of works done on all project sites and prepares payment certificates for clients.
Conducts valuations on work done by subcontractors and prepares certificates.
Assist in cost control and resource monitoring during construction.
Conducts cost analysis on projects prior to signing of contracts.
Identify and assess financial risks throughout the project lifecycle and take appropriate actions to mitigate them.
Offer value engineering solutions to reduce costs without compromising on quality or safety standards.
Participates in negotiation of contracts and work schedules with subcontractors.
Assist in Preparation of program of works and monitors same during contract execution.
Liaises with site managers, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure project execution in within scope and budget.
Prepares weekly and monthly reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other necessary and relevant documents and forwarding them to the appropriate management.
Mentor and develop junior quantity surveyors and other members of the quantity surveying team.CompetenciesCoreStrong leadership and team management capabilities.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in cost estimation and reporting.Qualifications/ExperienceMust have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with a proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects.
Must have strong experience in cost estimation, procurement, contract management, and project financial control is a must.
Must have Professional Certification as a qualified Quantity Surveyor is highly desirable (GhIS)Only candidates who meet the stated qualifications and experience requirements will be shortlisted.
