Administrators – Accountant or Accounts Clerks by Reputable School

- Manage student records and databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is maintained
- Process school admissions, enrolments, and transfers, liaising with parents and relevant external bodies as necessary
- Manage the school's finances, including processing orders, invoices, and payments, and maintaining accurate records
- Support the delivery of HR activities, including maintaining staff records, processing payroll, and coordinating recruitment activities
- Higher National Diploma or First Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Banking, Marketing and Statistics or Business related programmes, from a recognised tertiary institution
- Relevant experience in a school or education setting (Desired)
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, students, and parents
- Good IT Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, Database
- Experience in using Accounting Software is desirable but not essential as training be provided.
- Manage the school's financial accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare financial reports and statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage the school's budget, including monitoring and forecasting revenue and expenditure.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and guidelines, including tax and audit requirements.
- Work closely with the school's leadership team to provide financial analysis and advice to support decision-making.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
- Monitor and manage the school's cash flow, including preparing cash flow forecasts and managing bank accounts.
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting or related field.
- Experience working in a school or education setting in Ghana.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in financial accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Able to influence Headteachers re solutions to budget or financial control issues
- Able to supervise and motivate staff
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all financial matters.
