Reports To: Principal Officer, PlanningJob Summary: Supports in developing strategic plans for the organisation by conducting market research, analysing industry trends, and assisting in forecasting to inform executive decision-making.Key Responsibilities:

Conduct industry research and data analysis to guide decision-making on gold sector trends, market dynamics, and regulatory developments.
Assist in monitoring and evaluating the organisation's programmes to track performance against strategic goals.
Prepare reports, presentations, and policy briefs for executive management and external stakeholders.
Assist in risk assessments related to strategic initiatives, identifying areas for improvement.
Develop internal frameworks for tracking the impact of the organisation's policies on the mining sector.

Qualification Required & ExperienceSkills and Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Strategic Management or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in strategic planning, policy analysis, or corporate planning.
Familiarity with research techniques, forecasting models, and policy assessment tools.
Proficiency in data analysis, report writing, and dashboard creation.
Strong communicator with the ability to simplify complex strategic insights.
Proactive in researching industry trends and anticipating planning needs.
Ethical and responsible in ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
