Job Vacancy For Logistics and Inventory ManagerPosition Title: Logistics and Inventory ManagerReports to: General Manager/Operations ManagerPosition SummaryWe're a fast-growing manufacturing industry. We're seeking an experienced Logistics and Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize our logistics and inventory operations. You will be responsible for managing the flow of goods, supplies, and products from raw materials to end customers, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations.We expect you to have deep know-how in production procedures. Your ability to coach and motivate your teamtowardeffective and efficient performance will set you apart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a greater part of your day.The goal is to ensure an efficient logistics and inventorial system for smooth operations.Key Responsibilities

Lead inventory and logistics processes by providing timely and accurate input to budgeting and planning exercises
Develop and implement logistics and inventory policies and procedures to meet business objectives
Liaise with other managers to formulate these policies to ensure understanding and cooperation
Supervise and develop a team of logistics and inventory staff
Collaborate with other departments and team members to set goals for the logistics and inventory team
Manage and optimize inventory levels, reducing waste and excess stock
Deliver solutions to logistics and inventory problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements
Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation and warehousing
Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure seamless operations
Analyze and improve supply chain efficiency, identifying cost-saving opportunities
Implement and maintain inventory management systems and software
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

Qualification Required & ExperienceKey Requirements and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Minimum 3yearsof demonstrable or proven experience in logistics and inventory management particularly in international logistics
Proven track record of success in a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Ability to coach and motivate employees
Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems
Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CILT)
Familiarity with transportation management systems and freight audit services
Attention to detail
