Head of Credit by Reputable Rural Bank

• Responsible for effective management of the credit portfolio. The jobholder shall oversee and provide leadership in the delivery of quality and timely credit services to clients whilst ensuring maximum outreach, sustainability and compliance with the credit policy, standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Risk Management Agribusiness or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years banking experience, 5 years of which should have been head of credit preferably in a rural bank / 7 years credit management experience on a management grade in any bank
• A postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, statistics, Accounting or an equivalent professional certification in Banking, Finance, Risk Management or Accounting will be an advantage

• Timely preparation and submission of Prudential returns on credit to Bank of Ghana and ARB Apex Bank
• High moral character with proven integrity
• Must be computer literate and proficient in the use of Temenous 24 (T24) banking application software
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proven experience in credit analysis and risk assessment in preferably a rural bank
• In-depth understanding of credit management principles and practices
• Consciousness about internal controls and strong supervisory skills
• Ability to produce qualitative and quantitative reports
