Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Wesley College of Education, is a Public Teacher Educational Institution in the Ashanti Region of Ghana and a affiliated to the Kwame Nkrumah University of science and Technology in Kumasi under the new Teacher Education Reform. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following position: Vice PrincipalAs Vice Principal, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Principal with the overall management, administration and academic and disciplinary issues of the college. Your responsibilities will align with the colleges of Education Act 2012 (Act 847) and other regulatory provisions, under the guidance of the college's Governing councilQualification Required & Experience
  • Must have a Doctor of Philosophy in the relevant area of specialization
  • Must be of a rank not below Senior tertiary education institution
  • Must have exemplary character and high degree of personal integrity
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in a senior management position
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of challenges facing colleges of Education in Ghana and readiness to propose solutions
Term of Office
  • The appointment is full-time. The applicant should be able to complete at least one term of 3 years before attaining the attaining the compulsory retirement age of 60 years
