Your primary focus will be development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. A basic understanding of front-end technologies is therefore necessary as wellResponsibilities1. Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging2. Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic3. Build reusable code and libraries for future use4. Optimise the application for maximum speed and scalability5. Implement security and data protection solutions6. Design and implement data storage solutions7. Liaise with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new featuresSkills and Qualifications1. 3+ years working experience in Back-End Development2. Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript and CSS)3. In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)4. Proficient knowledge of PHP5. Hands on experience with programming languages like Java, Ruby and Python is an advantage6. Working knowledge of CMS framework7. Excellent analytical and time management skills8. Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude9.
