- Lead all project planning and implementation, ensuring that activity tasks are completed and objectives successfully met;
- Serve as the primary point of contact with and represent the activity to USAID;
- Provide leadership in and oversight to performance and impact evaluations, research and analysis, capacity building, and collaborating, learning, and adapting;
- Proactively identify resources required by the project, including consultants and subcontractors, and develop scopes of work for the same;
- Ensure the quality and timeliness of all contract deliverables and work products;
- Directly or indirectly supervise all project staff and consultants;
- Ensure adherence to all relevant USG, Banyan Global, and host country rules, regulations, and laws, including those related to procurement and labor and employment; and
- Other related duties as assigned.
- At least 6 years of experience successfully managing monitoring and evaluation, CLA, analytical research, and/or program support mechanism;
- Master's degree in monitoring and evaluation, public administration, political science, international relations, conflict resolution and peacebuilding or related field (PhD preferred);
- Experience in Countering Violent Extremism or Peace Promotion preferred;
- Ability to successfully manage and develop staff in a multi-country and multi-cultural setting as demonstrated by past experience;
- Ability to manage USAID contracts and all required reporting requirements;
- Experience establishing or supporting networks preferred;
- Ability to perform internal control functions to manage day-to-day operations of a USAID contract; and
- Fluency speaking, reading, and writing in English, with a minimum of professional proficiency in French.
- Professional experience in West Africa; and
- Leadership experience on MEL platforms or similar programs.
