The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing strategic financial insights and support to aid decision-making processes across the organisation. This role involves financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and the development of financial reports. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of business operations to deliver data-driven recommendations that improve financial performance and support growth initiatives.Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models for business scenario analysis and strategic planning.

  • Conduct monthly variance analyses of actual results against budget/forecast and explain key drivers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate financial impacts of business initiatives and investment decisions.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support strategic projects including pricing analysis, cost optimization, and profitability analysis.
  • Monitor industry trends, economic conditions, and competitive landscape to inform financial strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
  • Mentor and support junior analysts, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
  • Professional certification such as CFA, CPA, or ACCA is a strong advantage.
  • Experience working with a financial advisory firm or investment firm.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial modeling and forecasting tools.
  • Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Power BI).
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and investment analysis.
