We combine best-in-class science, forestry, and tech, to deliver forest restoration at scale, sequestering hundreds of millions of tonnes of CO2, restoring native biodiversity, and delivering equitable economic growth to local communities. We currently operate four projects across three countries in West Africa.Our technology team is tasked with building and maintaining the software that underpins these operations and processes. These tools are critical to ensuring that our silvicultural operations, carbon and biodiversity assessments, and social and community engagement workflows run efficiently and are backed by accurate, scalable data systems.About the roleWe're looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our in-office team, based in Accra.Unlike traditional PM roles focused on market-facing products, your “customers” will be our own internal teams - the people deploying, managing, and scaling our operations. You'll work closely with them to deeply understand their needs, uncover pain points, and identify opportunities to streamline and improve how we work.You'll own the full product lifecycle: from discovery and defining value, through to working with engineers to get the right things built and ensuring those things deliver real impact in the field.What you'll do

Work closely with field teams and office-based teams to understand operational challenges and uncover valuable opportunities for product interventions.
Define and prioritise clear product outcomes, focusing on meaningful improvements to how our teams operate.
Collaborate with engineers to shape, build, and iterate on solutions - ensuring we ship valuable, usable, and effective tools.
Continuously assess the impact of what we've delivered.
Bring product management best practices to the team - helping us stay focused, ship iteratively, and learn fast.
Spend time in the field, understanding how the work really happens and how our tools can better support it.

Essential qualifications

5+ years experience in product management.
Strong grounding in the fundamentals of product management - from identifying value to delivering outcomes and measuring impact.
A clear, structured thinker with excellent communication skills - able to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
A doer who's comfortable working in ambiguity, making progress quickly, and adapting as you go.
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Ability to work on-site at our Accra office, in a team-oriented environment.

Desirable qualifications

Experience developing mobile applications
Experience working with research or data science teams
