- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets across the Ashanti Region, with a primary focus on Kumasi and surrounding districts
- Leverage and expand an existing network of buyers, agro-dealers, cooperatives, and off-takers in the maize and soya market
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing clients
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing
- Lead and coach a small team of Sales Officers in the field, setting targets, reviewing pipelines, and developing their commercial skills
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, pricing dynamics, and the competitive landscape in the region
- Provide regular updates on sales performance, team pipeline, and market insights to senior leadership
- Collaborate with logistics and product teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction
- Represent Degas professionally in all client interactions and contribute to the company's reputation in the Ashanti market
- Proven experience in sales, with a strong background in agriculture, commodities, or a related sector. Maize and soya experience is a significant advantage
- Established commercial network in the Kumasi area and the broader Ashanti Region, including agro-dealers, cooperatives, off-takers, or farmer-based organisations
- At least 5 years of field sales experience, with some prior exposure to leading or mentoring a sales team
- Strong commercial mindset with solid understanding of sales processes, territory management, and commodity pricing dynamics
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to operate with a high degree of autonomy
- Willingness to travel extensively within the Ashanti Region and beyond when needed
- Fluency in Twi is a strong advantage
