Role OverviewWe're seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to join our growing team and contribute to building scalable, user-centric applications for our global clients. You'll work directly with US-based teams during overlapping business hours, ensuring seamless collaboration and real-time problem-solving.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop responsive, high-performance web applications using Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS
  • Collaborate with US-based teams during 8-hour overlap periods for real-time development and sprint meetings
  • Build server-side rendered applications with Next.js, including static site generation and API routes
  • Implement pixel-perfect UI designs using Tailwind CSS, a utility-first framework
  • Deploy applications to DigitalOcean Droplets running Ubuntu 24.04 LTS using Docker containers
  • Configure and maintain Nginx reverse proxy for traffic forwarding and load balancing
  • Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and consume Swagger-documented endpoints
  • Implement GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment processes
  • Optimise application performance through code splitting, lazy loading, and advanced React techniques
  • Work with Node.js 20 LTS build processes and modern deployment strategies
  • Participate in code reviews using GitHub workflows and maintain high coding standards
  • Implement monitoring and error tracking using Sentry for production applications

  • 3+ years of professional frontend development experience
  • Strong proficiency in Next.js, React, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript
  • Extensive experience with Tailwind CSS for responsive design implementation
  • Proficiency with Docker containerization and deployment
  • Experience with DigitalOcean cloud platform and Ubuntu server environments
  • Knowledge of Nginx configuration and reverse proxy setup
  • Strong Git and GitHub workflow experience including pull requests and code reviews
  • Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipeline development
  • Understanding of Node.js 20 LTS build processes and package management
  • Familiarity with Sentry or similar monitoring/logging tools
  • Must be available to work US business hours (8-hour overlap minimum)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with React Native for mobile development
  • Knowledge of Swagger/OpenAPI documentation
  • Familiarity with DigitalOcean's Object Storage for CDN implementation
  • Experience with SSL certificate management and Let's Encrypt
  • Understanding of load balancing and horizontal scaling strategies
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
