Job Vacancy For Printer

• Prepare requisition for print run
• Review and act on previous night's production reports and take appropriate action to ensure that these faults are rectified
• Carry out pre-production maintenance and cleaning, correcting settings to ensure that printing presses are ready for production
• Receive plates from process department and prepare them for printing
• Mount plates on cylinders in line with correct pagination
• Fill ink and water reservoirs prior to production
• Set up paper in presses
• Monitor print process for quality of outputs

• HND or Certificate in Printing Craft Technology from any of the Technical institutions/Polytechnic or its equivalent
• At least 5 years of working experience in a print production environment
• Certificate or working knowledge of industry requirements for safety, health and environment will be an added advantage
• Applicants should demonstrate working knowledge in imaging, imposition and reprogaphy

• Track record and proven ability in newspaper production processes and procedures
• Must be a team player with a high sense of commitment and honesty
• Ability to work to strict deadlines and under minimum supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication
