- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for projects.
- Collaborate with other engineers to develop project plans and designs.
- Ensure compliance with Newmont work rules and regulations.
- Oversee the execution of projects from inception to completion.
- Coordinate and manage project resources, including labour, materials, and equipment.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budget.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including subcontractors, architects, surveyors, and other engineers.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination among different teams.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety briefings and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities on-site.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with the lead engineer or site manager to develop and implement project schedules.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure work meets specified standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and address any issues that may affect project quality.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, progress reports, and site records.
- Prepare and submit required reports to management.
- Monitor and manage the use of materials and resources on-site.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Identify and address on-site issues promptly to prevent delays or disruptions.
- Collaborate with project teams to find effective solutions to challenges that may arise during construction.
- Performs any other allied duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Site Manager or his designate.
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven 6-10 years' experience as a Site Engineer in the construction or mining industry.
- Familiarity with construction management software.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must possess a Valid Driver's License C and above with five (5) years' experience in manual vehicle driving.
- Integrity and ethical behaviour.

- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
