Key Responsibilities1. Technical Planning & Execution
  • Interpret creative briefs and translate them into technical requirements
  • Develop detailed technical plans for:
  • Events and activations
  • Stage setups and installations
  • Audio-visual and digital productions
  • Ensure all technical elements align with creative and strategic objectives
2. Production Coordination & Delivery
  • Oversee setup, installation, and breakdown of technical equipment
  • Ensure seamless execution of all technical aspects during events and productions
  • Coordinate timelines and schedules for technical teams
  • Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues in real time
3. Vendor & Equipment Management
  • Source, evaluate, and manage technical vendors and suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure cost-effective procurement
  • Ensure proper maintenance and handling of equipment
  • Build strong relationships with reliable technical partners
4. Budget Control & Cost Efficiency
  • Develop and manage technical production budgets
  • Track expenses and ensure cost control
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
  • Work closely with finance and procurement teams
5. Health, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure all technical operations comply with health and safety standards
  • Conduct risk assessments for events and installations
  • Implement safety protocols for crew and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and venue requirements
6. Problem Solving & Risk Management
  • Identify potential technical risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Respond quickly to technical issues during execution
  • Ensure minimal disruption to events and productions
  • Escalate major risks where necessary
7. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work
  • Work closely with creative, design, and events teams
  • Align technical execution with creative concepts
  • Support account teams in delivering client expectations
  • Participate in project planning and brainstorming sessions
8. Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead and manage technical teams and freelance crew
  • Provide guidance, supervision, and performance feedback
  • Ensure efficient team coordination and communication
  • Foster a culture of professionalism, safety, and excellence
