Job SummaryThe GPS Administrator is responsible for managing the company's vehicle tracking and management systems. This role ensures the efficient, safe, and cost-effective operation of vehicles by leveraging GPS data to optimize routes, monitor driver behavior, and manage vehicle maintenance.Key ResponsibilitiesTracking & Reporting
  • Administer and maintain the company's GPS tracking software.
  • Monitor vehicle locations, routes, and activity in real-time to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Generate and analyze reports on driver behavior (e.g., speeding, idling, harsh braking, etc), fuel consumption, and route optimization.
  • Provide insights and data to management to inform strategic decisions regarding fleet operations.
System Maintenance & Support
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot GPS tracking devices in vehicles.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all GPS-related issues and support requests from drivers and management.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of GPS units and other related equipment.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of vehicle policies and procedures based on GPS data.
[ad]Required Skills or ExperienceQualifications
  • HND or Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in management, logistics, or a related administrative role, with specific experience using GPS tracking systems.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in vehicle management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, technicians, and management.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
