  • Operate and monitor processing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.
  • Adjust machine settings to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Comply with all safety, health, and environmental rules
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
  • Record and report production data and any equipment malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist in training new operators and technicians.
  • Participate in preventive maintenance and stock counts.
  • Control and report raw material usage and machine output.
  • Monitor critical control points (CCP 1 and CCP 2).
  • Regularly check outputs to ensure product quality and reduce waste.

  • HND in any related engineering course.
  • Minimum 3-years proven experience as machine operator
  • Food manufacturing experience and knowledge of current FSMS & ISO standards are a must.
  • Knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery including any one or more of filling, cutting, packaging, pressing & wrapping granulating, boules, blending etc. machines and measurement tools
Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Analytical mindset with the capability to identify patterns and trends from data.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to drive process improvements.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within the food industry.
