Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOverviewThe Production Plant Operator will assist in running the alcohol production around the clock by ensuring that standards are followed to achieve set targets.Duties
  • To monitor, control & regulate all the process parameters of the plant to maintain regular & steady production with good quality as per instructions provided by the management.
  • Monitoring and overseeing plant operations and assisting with startup, shutdown, and operations of Rectification Unit.
  • Observing gauges, dials, switches, alarms, and other indicators to ensure that all machines are working properly.
  • To make all the efforts to maintaining a clean, hazard-free work environment.
  • Ensuring that safety and environmental rules and programs are strictly adhered to.
  • To pursue all the maintenance jobs at the plant as per instructions. Also take part in preventive and corrective maintenance measures
  • Monitoring of quality of product from raw material to finished products.
  • To keep informed the shift engineer about any problems faced & also feedback the routine information.

  • Ability to work with little supervision and in a team.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel and Power Point
  • Ability to work extra hours as may be required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to understand, follow, and apply policies, practices, and operating procedures.
  • Understands basic Safety standards.
Qualification Required & Experience
  • A degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in math and technical subjects is preferred.
  • Have sound knowledge of process plant equipment and can operate the different types of pumps, cooling towers, boilers, distillation columns etc.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience and an exposure in a Chemical manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Have sound knowledge of plant operation through DCS / PLC and worked previously on them
