Mid-Level Data Engineer - GenKey

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Optimize data systems for performance and scalability.
• Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and documentation.
• Ensure data quality and integrity across different sources and systems.
• Work with cloud platforms and tools (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) to manage data infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting for data workflows.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of data engineering practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java.
• Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend).
• Experience with big data tools and frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud data platforms.
• Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and security best practices.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to machine learning workflows and model deployment.
• Experience with real-time data processing technologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
