Job Vacancy For Chief Security Officer

• The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating activities relating to the protection, safeguarding and security of company assets, employees, customers and visitors
• He will design, implement and monitor security policies, procedures and programs, whiles ensuring total compliance with state and local legal regulations and other activities as assigned

• Devise policies and procedures regarding areas such as business continuity planning, loss prevention and fraud prevention and privacy
• Oversee and coordinate security efforts across the company, including information technology, human resources, communications, facilities management and other business units
• Identify and implement security initiatives and standards
• Develop procedures to ensure physical safety of employees, customers and visitors
• Create strategies to enhance workplace violence awareness and prevention programs
• Maintain relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement and other related government agencies
• Investigate security breaches and report on same to the appropriate quarters

• A minimum of a 1st Degree in Business Administration (Management) / recognised qualification relevant to security
• A minimum of at least 10 years of experience in corporate security / law enforcement / military preferably worked in the consumer goods sector
• Ability to operate with utmost discretion when needed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, CCTV, Fire and Safety systems

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical skills, investigative skills and sound decision-making ability
• Ability to effectively manage a team
