Job Vacancy For Health Safety & Environment Officer

• Ensures all safety policies and practices are in line with Mantrac Groups safety vision and principles and worldwide practices
• Provides detailed reports regarding incidents, risk and safety performance
• Develops procedures for managing and disposing hazardous substances
• Develops, monitors and constantly improve Health, Safety and Environment procedures for the branch

• Ensure all safety policies and practices are in line with global best practices
• Leads safety / toolbox talks
• Develops procedures for managing and disposing hazardous substances
• Develops a comprehensive standard operating procedure for branch operations
• Ensures safe working and environmental practices are strictly followed
• Reviews safe working procedures as and when it becomes necessary
• Keeping an up-to-date record of all health, safety and environmental issues

• A good first degree in BSc. Engineering will be an advantage not essential
• Certification from National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH)
• Institute of occupational safety and health (IOSH) and/or Occupational Health and safety assessment series (OHSAS) - Lead Auditor Certification and/or Internal Auditor Certification - Certification will be an advantage, not essential
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
• Abreast with worldwide health, safety and environmental procedures
